As a boomer born in 1957, the year more babies were born than ever before (at the time), I've always felt pretty common. I didn't realize we created such havoc. I feel bad that my kids (well, now kid) and her mate can't afford the down payment for a house, and I feel bad that I don't have the $ to give them. My financial downfall stems from a divorce, and things have spiraled downward since then. I am still living paycheck to paycheck, and recently had to get a part-time job to make ends meet. So I'm definitely not the 98%. But I'm getting off point.
In government, there needs to be more Gen X, Gen Y, and Millennials in office. It doesn't seem like "you guys" are speaking loud enough. Voices can't be heard if they aren't in office. You need to get in there and clean house of all these straight, white, "Christian", male fascists who are of my generation and are ruining our country. Or we need to just die.
Please, get into politics. The future of this country depends on it. Turn this ship around before it's too late!
