Congratulations on your first article! When I have time, I check out the people who choose to follow me, and then look at some of their articles to see if there is some common ground. I could say we all have friends, but then that wouldn't be true. What about the hermits? (Not Herman's.) Personally, the older I get the fewer friends I make. My best friendships were made years ago. And to those, I just can't imagine what we would fight about. But some of my older friends turned Republican. The only place we fight is on Facebook. In most cases, we both come out unscathed, but there are those that just drift away. It's a very sticky area, the politics equation.
