A Plethora of Pop Writing Challenge

Wait for me, guys! I want to play too!

Motown’s early home in Detroit, Michigan. The photo was taken on 2/17/2017 by the author.

I love writing articles that require research. I’ve become somewhat of a specialist in climate change out here in the West. It has involved reading and culling information from many sources to make it digestible for Medium readers.

Plus, it seems to change daily with new developments or lows, as the case may be.

So this is a pleasant diversion.

Jennifer Barrios Tettay came up with this challenge a few days ago, and then I saw Pierce McIntyre had written a version. So I wanted to get in on the bandwagon.

If you asked me what my favorite kind of music is, I would have to go with alternative rock, and it’s been that way since the early ’90s. When I was younger, I was a super geek and listened to all kinds of hideous music on the Top 40. But for timelessness and memories, I have to go with Motown. With their vast catalog, I’m sure I’ll be able to think up a few tunes with titles that match the letters in my name.

So away we go!
