Good for you, Keith. Let those southern bigots have their own “Methodist Church.” I wrote a story about the dismantling a couple of years ago on Medium. I used to attend (not religiously) the UMC in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. They had a gay pastor and were very welcoming to all of us, not just a few of us.
