Hi, and thanks! It's more important to watch for patterns over time than to look at individual seasons. I would say 22 years of drought (although there were a couple of wet years in there) constitutes a pattern. As such, there's not enough water to sustain the crops. There's not enough food for cattle to eat. I think we'll have what we need--at a price. Coastal areas are not a good place to migrate! I think you'll see it more in the heartland.
