Hi Dr. West, excellent article. My Mom wasn't too happy with me when I came out in 1998, but I think she learned to accept and love with scripture. Whatever bible your aunt is reading, and the millions of others -- well, they just have it all wrong.

Religion plays almost a 0% part in my life. We have different beliefs. I cannot believe in creationism. I think this divides us way more than my being gay does. She wants me to be in heaven with her, but is there really a heaven? Christianity requires a lot of willing suspension of disbelief.
