As an airline employee for many years, I almost wouldn't take a trip if I knew I wouldn't get upgraded to Business or First. SPOILED! Only a handful of airlines have first class cabins on international runs. Few were buying it, and the Business class cabin came to resemble First Class anyway. "Upper Class" on Virgin Atlantic was awesome. We had a real bar on board! Of course, in Upper Class. Nowadays, I can handle a couple of hours in economy, but over the water? It's business class or I'm not going!
