How Do The Prolific Writers On Medium Find So Much Time To Write?
Something seems fishy, and I want answers!
When I first started writing on Medium, not so long ago, I didn’t get it.
There were long gaps between stories. I thought I was writing for the general public. I thought that there must be millions of people out there anteing up five dollars a month to build their own “magazines” based on their favorite topics. I hadn’t read enough about it to know how it works. I thought this would be a no-brainer.
Since I just retired, I thought it would be easy to carve out 12 hours a day just to read and write for the sheer pleasure of it.
Boy, was I wrong.
Who are these people that can churn out an article a day, sometimes three? Superhuman?
Do they have nothing else to do?
Since I tend to go to bed late, I wake up late. Sleep is not negotiable. I’ve found that blindfolds help keep the morning at bay, as I am very sensitive to light. Stumble out of bed, make the requisite cup of coffee, and hit the office.
