I don't know if I'm a good example, but after being married to a manipulative and conniving woman with borderline personality disorder, I had a hard time accepting women back into my life when I came out--any women, other than friends who I had known from the past. I was literally thrown out of a mostly lesbian bar, onto the sidewalk, in my first year of being out. I got into an argument about the music they were playing. So I'm a bit jaded, and for that, I apologize.
