I enjoyed reading your article, as it’s an issue I’ve been writing about for the past year. I live smack dab in the middle of extreme drought (Albuquerque), and see it every day. We are located in a rain shadow. It’s trying to rain as we speak. It won’t. What we don’t have is the massive growth of the other places you mentioned. But it will buy us only so much time. New Mexico is on fire.
