I read recently that one thought about the CAP is covering it with solar panels. That would at least solve the power generation problem. Arizona will have electricity but no water, and California the opposite!

The monsoons haven't been so dependable in recent years. Like Phoenix just had, you usually get at least one big deluge, and the rest are just adequate if not non-existent. Here in NM it started with a bang, but has since petered out.

Finally, water consumers will be OK even though the cuts seem drastic. It's our food supply coming from the Central and Imperial Valleys I'm most concerned about. Desalination: you saw what happened to the one that was proposed for Huntington Beach. It was shot down. So yes, when are these clowns going to realize that the problem is NOW???
