I'm known to take both spontaneous road trips and well-planned excursions for a week or 10 days, all while camping in the West. It never dawned on me that were few to no Black people camping. Maybe there were and I just wasn't looking. I'm out there for nature and activities like hiking. I generally leave the people watching for the cities. Your article made me feel what it must feel like to you. That blows.
