It's too late for me. I've had too many emergencies that have forced me to use credit. That includes costly car repairs and funerals. I'm 67. I will stop using certain cards, but the others will be used so that I can continue to take a vacation here and there, and always dress well. I really don't care anymore. I'll never have anything of substance, but I don't have to feel like it.
