Loved this! I wait with anticipation for the seed catalogs too. The Burpee one always seems to come between the Christmas and New Year holidays. I dog-ear the pages, and then see if the same items come up in the other catalogs, then I buy the ones with lowest price. I was taught to never pay full retail for anything!

I live in an area where the soil conditions are very poor for in-ground planting (Albuquerque). So I amend it best as I can and use it to experiment with flowers that will take the intense, high altitude sun. Most of my vegetables are grown in containers, where I've had very good luck.
