That reminds me of what to do with coinage. Mine has always gone into my travel fund. But banks got rid of coin counters in their lobbies--you had to go to a teller and they'd do it in their secret room. Then they required you to put your coins in rolls (what a roll-oyal pain in the ass). Now, my bank anyway takes the pre-rolled coins and sends them somewhere else to count, and will deposit them into my checking account 2-3 days later. Kinda takes the whole fun out of it.
