The biggest publication I've been a part of is ILLUMINATION, and I think that's going to be my niche. That is, avoiding mega- publications. I've had the most luck there and in some smaller, niche publications. My biggest article has garnered 11.1K views to date (7-8 months ago) and the subject matter was about climate change! You never know.
