I know. The egg is a bit of a non sequitur. But I’ve been dying to use that phrase!

This is my ADHD brain talking. It is only on the drugs prescribed to me (although I’ve tried a few supplements).

I meant to write an article about two Canadian one-hit-wonders who released some incredibly sappy songs. One is more of a three-hit wonder, but the other is a one-hit.

Now, what was the point of this?

Oh yeah, got it.

If you’re a writer, you’ve got to have some interest and knowledge in many areas. Few of us focus on one specific topic during our entire writing career.

There’s “some interest,” and there’s “geek status.” You achieve geek status when you’re consumed with something that most people don’t really care about. Maybe that’s why my articles aren’t selling so well these days.

I have about eight topics I write about — they’re in my short bio on the left. I decided to mix a couple of them up for this article.

Speaking of which, I better get to the point before I lose you. It gets better!

Today, I’m mixing geography with pop music. So come along for the ride!
