Walgreens vs. CVS
What’s a loyal shopper to do?
Decisions, decisions.
I’ve been loyal to Walgreens for the better part of my consumer life. CVS didn’t even come into the Chicago market, where I was living at the time, until sometime in the early 00s. (Is that how you write that decade?)
Marketers claim the hardest segment of the population to get to change habits is us “old” people.
However, I refuse to be called or looked at as old. I’m not! I’m only 65! The only time I feel my age is when I have to lean over to pick something up and get out of bed.
These things wouldn’t be that difficult if I moved more. But I’m trying to make a go of it as a writer. Unfortunately, that involves a lot of sitting around.
So thanks a lot, Medium.
The Shopping Experience — Walgreens
I’m becoming increasingly angry with Walgreens. I now have to plan on waiting in line for up to 45 minutes just to pick up a prescription. There are always people ahead of me in line that have issues. Why don’t they have a “pick up only, no issues” line?
